When Donna Alexander opened Pies Galore & More in 2012, she not only wanted to supply phenomenal baked goods to Lancaster County residents, but also she dreamed of creating a warm, inviting atmosphere – a “connecting point” within the community.
“Food for the soul,” Donna calls it. “There is nothing better than gathering around the table at home for dessert and coffee. I wanted to keep it simple and nostalgic. We want people coming in for a slice of pie and staying for the social aspect. We want to be that place where people come together like family for a cup of coffee and a breakfast item on their way to work, local business meetings or just getting together with friends for some great conversation and a treat,” Alexander explains.
